April is a beautiful time of year to visit Winterthur Museum, Garden, & Library in Norther Delaware. TCS left early on Apr 23, 2025 in order to tour the Museum House (which has 175 rooms). The house built by Henry Francis du Pont was incredible. We had 4 groups each with a tour guide who led us through the amazing house filled with different paintings, several china sets, beautiful furniture and more.. We also took a tour through part of the 60 acre gardens. We learned that the gardens changed all the time, so this time next month the gardens will be different. Winterthur has 1000 acres of protected meadows, woodlands, ponds, and waterways.
