Middle School
The Concept School curriculum focuses on essential questions to guide student-centered learning with grade-appropriate material to create meaningful learning experiences for all students.

At the Middle School level, autonomy is encouraged and developed. Guided instructional strategies and study skills promote confidence and success. Through cooperative learning activities, individualized instruction, adaptations, and accommodations, all students have access to the curriculum. All students are required to take Reading, English, Math, Science, and Social Studies daily. Music, Gym, Art, and Technology are offered weekly. An elective class is often offered based on student and teacher interest. Frequent field trips promote meaningful learning experiences.

During her time at Concept, I saw a metamorphosis take place. She became a whole person again with a healthy self-esteem. Her values never changed. However, I feel TCS brought them out and helped focus them for her.
