Ms. Tilmon held the annual “Star Party” on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Thirteen of our students participated. Most stayed after school and were able to socialize with classmates outside of class time for the rest of the afternoon. Ms. Tilmon showed “Apollo Thirteen,” to those students who were interested. Mrs Culler surprised the students with homemade cookies! Before dark, Ms. Tilmon showed the students the night sky using a sky app. We went outside at dark and were met with cloudy skies. Fortunately, the skies cleared enough for a time to allow us to see Jupiter, Mars, and Gemini! A phone app allowed us to see what was in the sky, even through the clouds. Mrs. Fredericks and Mrs. Daniels also attended and assisted. It was a fun and educational night for all!
